I mainly work with 1/8 inch 5052 an 1/8 inch diamond plate 3003. The diamond plate is obviously a little harder to bend. but I don't see that much difference. Anything thicker or if I have lots of bends will get subbed out. I also have NO problem welding 3003 with 4043 rod.
